Concerning our commune: the Domaine du Rayol, the Jardin des Méditerranées offers you the thematic visit "The Odyssée of the Mimosas", a real world tour to meet about forty species of mimosas that the Jardin des Méditerranées has. This guided tour is also an opportunity to learn how to maintain and acclimatise the mimosas, but also to understand the need to limit the growth of the Acacia dealbata, an invasive and highly inflammable species. A 2-hour botanical walk, without difficulties, which will allow you to understand the Mediterranean landscapes by discovering the species that compose them. In addition to their names, this lesson in movement will be an opportunity to discuss their relationship, their origins, their forms, or simply the natural habitats in which the plants live, whether in Australia, the Canaries, South Africa, Chile or elsewhere.

This first edition is an opportunity to highlight the regional forestry heritage, the wood trades, our region with its craftsmen and local producers. Event co-organised by Forêt Modèle de Provence and the Domaine du Rayol, in partnership with the Port-Cros National Park.
